Staircase renovation process from start to finish

Free design consultation
Our staircase renovation service begins with a free, no-obligation design consultation with our expert team.
We’ll provide you with samples and photographs, as well as our expert knowledge to guide you through a range of materials and designs so you can decide on the best staircase for your home.
At this point, we can often provide a quote for the renovation. You don’t have to agree to anything here; you can go away and think about it before reaching out to us again.
Home survey
If you’re happy with the design of your new staircase after consultation with our team, an installation date can be arranged. Before the big day, a surveyor will visit your home to take final measurements and provide any support should you have any questions.
This visit takes less than an hour and sets you up for the next, major step.
Installation
The day has arrived! On installation day, our expert team will work under a canopy outside your property to complete any cutting.
If you’ve ordered a whole new staircase, your old one will be removed and taken away for recycling before the new stairs are installed. If it’s a staircase renovation, we will remove and replace your existing newel posts and balustrades and complete the work you’ve requested.
All your new parts are installed prefinished, so there’s no need for a return visit to complete any work.
Should everything go to plan (it normally does), our team should only take one day to complete your staircase installation/renovation.
