“The installation took only one day and we are just thrilled with the result!”
We work in different homes nationwide and see some beautiful examples of artwork complementing the home. It can be framed or a canvas, a wall mounted masterpiece or a freestanding sculpture. As far as we can see, there is no right or wrong approach. There are many similarities between the art chosen for a home and an Abbott-Wade staircase. They should reflect the character of your home and personality as well as complementing their surroundings. Here are some of our favourite examples we’ve seen on our travels.
Although not a part of the home that is often considered for refurbishment, the staircase, when professionally replaced or renovated, can become a beautiful centrepiece of any property.
Abbott-Wade are one of the country’s leading staircase manufacturing and renovation businesses. Formed in the mid-1990s we now have more than 22 years of experience to our name. We can produce both gorgeous new flights of stairs as well as bringing back to life outdated and out of fashion stairs with a bespoke staircase renovation.
But which is better? Which would be more suited to your home? New Staircase or Staircase Renovation?
With such a wealth of experience and expertise behind us backed up by a customer focussed approach and dedicated team, we are always pleased to be recognised for our achievements. It is a reflection that our approach, service and product are of the highest quality. “Abbott-Wade had a choice of designs that was far superior to others and were sympathetic to a difficult placing of the staircase. ” – Mr & Mrs Mansfield, Surrey
When you are short of space in your home, or you are looking to create more floor space, then space saving stairs from Abbott-Wade are perfect for you. Capable of fitting into any style of property, of any age, this type of staircase, also known as paddle stairs, can reduce the space taken up by a regular size staircase by up to half due to a steeper going distance that uses alternate steps to save space.
“I was impressed by the competence and capability of the workforce. It’s easy to make decisions when you are in possession of the facts and the options are made clear.”
