The Currie family were looking for a truly bespoke feature staircase with flowing curved lines. With the help of designer Janet Stephens and the team at Abbott-Wade, sweeping walnut rails with sleek white spindles were the perfect solution.

Why a new staircase?
Our old staircase looked old fashioned and did not do the house justice.
Inspiration:
I had been thinking about it for quite some time.
Decision making process:
Abbott-Wade was recommended by the manufacturer of bespoke turned handrails.
Style choice:
Simple narrow spindles and turned walnut handrail. It looks lovely and really made the hallway.
End Result:
The process was efficient and once the handrail was ready, the whole thing was completed in a week which was impressive as there were actually three staircases involved. The follow up service to ensure everything was perfect was excellent with very fine attention to detail.
