In Summary:

A full oak Southport Staircase Renovation is the perfect staircase design for this seaside setting.

‘Why a new staircase?’
Our staircase was a 60s style pine open tread with dead space below that wasn’t big enough to do anything significant with.

‘Inspiration’
We’d talked about the possibility of changing the stairs for the past couple of years as it was starting to look tired and didn’t do anything for the hallway.

‘Decision Making Process’
Obviously, we spoke to a few staircase companies and all came up with ideas but we personally felt that Abbott-Wade listened to us and heard what we wanted.

‘Style Process’
We wanted an oak staircase to complement our oak wooden flooring. Choosing twisted spindles with contrasting steel spindles has given us a traditional contemporary style and because the stairs have been closed in with a now very useful under stair’s cupboard it has totally transformed our hallway.

‘End Result’
To say we are pleased is an understatement we love how it looks and how modern and fresh it looks. 
The whole process took 4 days and the fitters Lee & Daniel didn’t stop, the attention to detail was fantastic and at the end of each day they always left everywhere clean and tidy.
