Timber Choice:
Our pre-finished Natural Oak is the perfect choice for this beautiful staircase.
All our timber stair parts are prepared and finished in-house by our specialist team of sprayers to give the wood a furniture quality finish. This is exactly what’s needed for this staircase which is located in pride of place in this home.
Balustrade:
Grey 10mm toughened glass panels fixed with stainless steel clamps adds extra detail and pairs with other fixings and fixtures in this home to add an element of cohesion and continuity between floors. The clear glass balustrade allows natural light to flood the stairway and making this home look bigger and brighter.
Solid engineered 90mm oak newel posts with 4 perfect faces and no visible joins and flat newel caps with contemporary styled oak handrail. A wider oak post at the top of the stairs eliminates the need for a mitred return on the landing.
Treads:
The tired softwood treads of the original staircase have been re-clad in engineered solid oak with an anti-slip finish. It’s difficult to believe this isn’t a completely new staircase!
