A winding Staircase Renovation which has been achieved by cladding over existing structural parts of the stairs and replacing other key staircase components such as newel posts and balustrades to create the illusion of a completely new staircase.
Style:
A modern staircase design for a contemporary home. The stairs and hallway feel bigger and brighter thanks to the properties of the materials used while remaining in keeping with the rest of the home.
Timber Choice:
Our pre-finished Pearl-Oak is the perfect choice for this modern staircase.
All our timber stair parts are prepared and finished in-house by our specialist team of sprayers to give the wood a furniture quality finish. This is exactly what’s needed for this staircase which is located in pride of place in this home.
Balustrade:
Toughened 10mm embedded glass panels set into the rails presents clean lines filling the stairway with light and making the space look bigger and brighter.
Solid engineered oak newel posts with 4 perfect faces and no visible joins and black steel newel caps with tapered styled oak handrail.
Treads:
The tired softwood treads of the original staircase have been re-clad in engineered stained oak with an anti-slip finish and is awaiting a new carpet runner to complete the aesthetic and provide comfortable feeling under foot.
Solid engineered oak treads provide both function and form as they are aesthetically striking but also hardwearing and functional.
A bespoke Pearl Oak feature step adds a stylish invitation to climb this stylish stairs.
