Whether in a terrace or a town house, a mansion or a maisonette – every staircase has it’s own unique story. Abbott-Wade have been collecting some of these stories on our travels around the country; finding out out the reasons for transformations, the history and inspiration of staircases in homes just like yours.
We’ve travelled the length and breadth of the country transforming homes with our staircase renovations and new flights. These staircase stories have been completed by real Abbott-Wade customers in their own homes. Browse through these pages written by Abbott-Wade customers, chances are there’s a staircase very similar to your own. Who knows, maybe the story of your own staircase will one day feature amongst these pages.
Every staircase has a story and from time to time customers share their staircase stories with us. Mr & Mrs Avery are two such customers, a shortened version of their story can be found in our casestudies but details of their full journey could better help you to imagine how the process could work for you. They’ll take you from their first steps of shopping around, the design and installation process, right through to the completed project.

“We are extremely pleased!”
