Abbott-Wade’s knowledgeable and personable staff ensure that our customers can make informed decisions. It was a deciding factor for Mrs Phillips in Lichfield who opted to create the illusion of space with a new glass staircase.

“I was impressed by the competence and capability of the workforce. It’s easy to make decisions when you are in possession of the facts and the options are made clear.”

Why a new staircase?

“Our previous staircase comprised three dark diagonal planks and our staircase lead out of living room and so is constantly on view.”

Inspiration:

“We had seen advert of competitor who we contacted and asked for further information not having any idea of what staircases cost. The company were not prepared to hazard a guess at a potential price and as a potential customer we were not prepared to be visited without some idea of the cost. As a result their follow up phone calls were unwelcome.”

Decision making process:

“We saw an Abbott-Wade advert and called to ask them for guidance on cost. We described the staircase, and Abbott-Wade provided a rough estimate which meant a visit was worthwhile. Peter, a highly competent salesperson arrived and the job was costed which fell within the limits previously indicated over phone.”

Style choice:

We opted for a glass sided balustrade which gave more light and also the illusion of space and the impression that the room was larger than it is.”

End Result:

“I am enjoying the staircase. I was impressed by the competence and capability of the workforce. It’s easy to make decisions when you are in possession of the facts and the options are made clear.”
