Bonfire Night 2016

We do our best to reduce waste as much as possible and send as little as we can to landfill. We recycle waste wood and invite local members of the community to collect free wood to heat their homes. Chunky, oversized oak newel posts replaced those of the original staircase with embedded glass securing the balustrade.

“After thirty years, the house at last feels ‘all of a piece’; the cornerstone of the aesthetic is now in place.  The historic and the contemporary are now in harmony.  A very satisfactory, and very satisfying, result.” – James & Shelagh
